Join our Roads and Drains Team! As the Roads and Drains Maintenance Officer - Signage, you will provide road and drainage works in accordance with the programmed maintenance of the road and roadside signage network within the Shire focusing on municipal roadside, road and drainage maintenance, traffic management and installation and maintenance of signs.

What a typical day will look like;

• Carry out road and drainage works in accordance with the scheduled maintenance program for the Shire's road and roadside network.
• Manage customer expectations and concerns in a timely manner.
• Work cooperatively with and provide assistance to the Roads & Footpaths team and other crews within the Operations Centre to ensure works are undertaken in a planned and coordinated manner
• Use of electronic devices as required.

What you will bring to the role;

• Demonstrated experience in municipal roadside, road and drainage maintenance, traffic management and installation and maintenance of signs
• Current Victorian driver licence with heavy rigid endorsement.
• Experience and accreditation in Traffic Control.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
